1.0 How do I get started with registering my project at the Central BioBank Maastricht UMC+?

As we all familiarize ourselves with these changes, please refer to the following instructions. The Platform Module is a key tool for tracking study progress. It provides individual status updates for each approval stage and a final status indicating whether the study has been approved or cancelled.

There are two ways to register your project. The first process described in this section is for researchers who are new to the Central BioBank Maastricht UMC+. 2.0 New Researchers at the Central BioBank Maastricht UMC+: Where to get started?
To access the new registration module, researchers should use the following link: Data Portal - Jira Service Management The first step is to complete FORM 01, the initial registration form. Focus on filling out the mandatory fields at this stage.
Upon submission of your registration, the Central BioBank Maastricht UMC+ will be notified via email. Subsequently, you will be contacted to either complete additional forms or arrange a meeting to discuss your project. You will receive an email with further instructions.
2.1 What happens next? Filling out details regarding Study Design
Subsequently, you will be invited to complete FORM 02. This form is more comprehensive, requesting detailed information regarding your study and the procedures implemented to ensure the safeguarding of your materials within the Central BioBank Maastricht UMC+ for the duration of your project.
2.2 Almost Done: The Governance Form for the New Study
Following the completion of FORM 02, you will be invited to complete the final FORM 03. This form concludes the registration process and confirms all agreements related to the performance of your study.
2.3 Finishing up: The Approval Message
Following the review of all forms, you will receive notification of the final approval status. You will also be notified in the event that the project is cancelled for any reason.
